Last year, on October 27th, the deadliest attack of anti-Semitism in North American history took place at the Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh. In response, we hosted a community vigil at our congregation.
The following Shabbat, we engaged with congregations across the United States worshipping together during a Shabbat of Solidarity.
This year the AJC (American Jewish Committee), is again engaged with #ShowUpForShabbat and encouraging the Jewish community to participate. Last year, millions attended synagogues around the world, in what became the largest-ever expression of solidarity with the American Jewish community.
I invite you to join us at a special Shabbat to honor the victims and raise our collective voices for a world free of Anti-Semitism, hate and bigotry.
